Northwoods Ayurveda & Integrative Care
Clinical and contemplative care for stress, trauma, and life transitions.
with Shaina Levee, M.A.
When the nervous system is under strain, it often shows up in the body — through digestion, mood, and energy. This work is grounded in somatic psychology, using awareness of the body as the primary entry point, with Ayurveda woven in to support regulation, clarity, and steady change.
Three forms of integrative care.
Ayurveda begins with the body — digestion, sleep, and rhythm. Lifestyle consultations offer simple guidance that cultivates health, with marma therapy available as gentle, hands-on support.
Somatic therapy uses dialogue, awareness, and guided visualization to support emotional health and nervous system regulation, with trauma-informed care and optional craniosacral therapy.
Birth leaves a deep imprint. These sessions support conception, pregnancy, and postpartum through somatic practice, relational dialogue, craniosacral therapy and nourishing meals.

Shaina Levee, M.A.
Bridging Ayurveda, psychology, and embodied care.
I’m Shaina Levee, M.A., founder of Northwoods Ayurveda & Integrative Care. My work draws on more than a decade in private practice and over twenty years in the healing arts, with a foundation in psychology, somatic and trauma-informed approaches, and ongoing study in classical Ayurveda.
I focus on the nervous system and digestion, and on how the body holds stress over time. I’ve worked with adults in transition, individuals navigating physical and emotional challenges, pregnant and postpartum women, and families, couples, teens, and children.
Across all of this, I offer a blend of Ayurvedic guidance, somatic practices, and steady, relational support — practical tools grounded in both training and lived experience. Read more about me here.
